The Saturday before Christmas saw Mr and Mrs Valentine of Poole make a special visit to the Sovereign Centre having become the lucky winners of the Sovereign Centre's 'Win a £1000 voucher Christmas shopping spree' run in association with the Bournemouth Echo!
They made their way through the snow and ice to collect their vouchers from Centre Administrator Joan Neale (pictured with Mr Valentine) and to donate £100 of their win to charity Naomi House. Staff at Naomi House were touched by the gesture but Mr and Mrs Valentine were adamant that they wanted a local charity to also benefit from their luck and were delighted to be able to support such a worthy cause.
While we cannot give out details of the vouchers they chose for their family, stores visited for the spree included TJ Hughes, Sports Direct, Wilkinson, Boots, Claire's, The Fragrance Shop, Cherish Gifts and New Look so we are sure their children and grandchildren enjoyed a few Christmas goodies as well.
