It has certainly been a long wait since Valentine's Day, but finally, Mothering Sunday is upon us this weekend.
The Sovereign Centre has been looking forward to meeting the winner of our 'Value Mum' competition run in association with Listed Magazine ever since we contacted her son Barry on Tuesday.
And finally, we got to meet her today as we presented her with a selection of vouchers from stores at the Sovereign Centre. Cathryn and her husband popped into the Centre on this morning (Friday 1st April) and was delighted to meet up with Joan Neale the Centre's Administrator who handed over the vouchers. Cathryn chose from all the retailers in the Centre and received vouchers from Sports Direct, The Fragrance Shop, TJ Hughes and Boots amongst others. Cathryn was also keen to visit Jacqueline's as her daughter is getting married in August and she is keen to find the perfect hat to top off her 'mother of the bride' outfit!
So, it's hat's off to our terrific Mum and we look forward to seeing a couple of photos of that hat later in the year! Don't worry about missing out on winning prizes for Mum this year, the Sovereign Centre shops have some great goodies in store and advice for that special Mother in your life.
