Help us make our very own 'Pride in Bournemouth' Lion

Pride in Bournemouth is an exciting public art event to be staged through the summer of 2011. It will bring together residents, visitors, schools, artists and businesses in a fun way!

Artists will decorate life-size lions, sponsored by local businesses which will then be placed around the town, encouraging exploration of Bournemouth and raise money for Julia’s House and the Born Free Foundation.

Between 1st and 5th August our very own 'Pride in Bournemouth' lion will be on the mall waiting to meet Sovereign Centre shoppers.

With a silvery mane made from 4000 five pence pieces our fearsome feline will certainly make an impact; and we need your help in making it happen. Simply visit us on the mall and follow the signs to where our lion is located, place one of our five pence pieces so you can take part in the creation of this charitable work.
