Centre Managers have confirmed today that the Centre has been sold to New River Retail for £12m; the sale was completed last week. The 150,000sqft centre is anchored by Peacocks, Wilkinson, Lidl, Boots and New Look with other major tenants including Poundland, Clinton Cards and Costa Coffee.
Further to the merger of King Sturge and Jones Lang LaSalle earlier this summer, the Centre’s Managing Agent remains JLL and staff are keen to stress that it is “business as usual” for the Centre. Independent shops, high street multiples and other traders have received notification of the new owners from the Centre today.
Centre Administrator Joan Neale said, “We are delighted that the sale has completed and that we are able to inform our shops and customers. We hope that stores, staff and visitors alike are reassured that the Centre continues to operate as before, that there will be a seamless transition from our former owners to our new landlords and that the Centre will continue to go from strength to strength.”
