Staff in F. Hinds’ stores across England and Wales will be putting the kettle on this Friday, 30th September 2011 and inviting customers to join them as part of Macmillan Cancer Support’s 21st World’s Biggest Coffee Morning and helping to make it the best ever.
Staff will be serving up tasty treats and a hot cuppa during the morning with the aim of raising money for people affected by cancer. As part of their partnership with Macmillan, F. Hinds has also created an exclusive and indulgent, but thankfully calorie-free treat, the Tingle Silver Strawberry Cupcake Charm (www.fhinds.co.uk). These cute cupcake charms can be attached to numerous types of bracelets, necklace chains, handbags, zippers or phones and also make great gifts, with all profits (min. £15 inc VAT) donated to Macmillan.
Andrew Hinds, Director from F Hinds says, “The support that Macmillan provides is invaluable, and we are delighted to get involved.
"F. Hinds has an enviable reputation for friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff, and this is an opportunity for our customers to get to know us even better. Whilst waiting for a cuppa, they might like to see the Tingle Cupcake charm, have a piece of jewellery cleaned, sell us their gold or enter a competition to win a holiday.”
Sally Hill, Macmillan Cancer Support says, ”This year is the 21st World’s Biggest Coffee Morning and we hope to make it our best ever! I’d like to thank everyone at F. Hinds the jewellers and Tingle London for adding a little bit of sparkle to the day. The cupcake charms are a fantastic way to treat yourself or a loved one whilst also supporting Macmillan. A cup of coffee and a cupcake, even non edible sparkly ones, really do make a huge difference and will help people affected by cancer.”
Whether it’s a coffee morning at work, an afternoon tea party with the girls or a lively curry night at the rugby club every World’s Biggest Coffee Morning event, no matter how small or large, will help Macmillan make a real difference.
