And the entire town is invited to join in the celebrations!
This Saturday 22nd October The Worshipful The Mayor and Mayoress of Bournemouth Councillor and Mrs Chris Rochester will officially launch the Sovereign Centre’s public display of the ‘Pride in Bournemouth’ Lions: ‘Rex’, ‘Ford Robot’, ‘Fireworks’ and ‘It’s got to be Bournemouth’.
Come and join in the celebrations from 10am to 2pm with the official ceremony at 11.30am.
There will be FREE facepainting for children from 10am to 2pm and Boscombe Bob will be along to join in the celebrations, plus Costa Coffee will provide free tastings of their delicious food/drink during the morning, so don't be late!
The Mayor will be joined at the launch by representatives from the Centre's contractors which supply the Centre's essential services, including Mitie, Guarding UK, Fallow Management and A&E Services whose generous donations made the purchase of the lions at the recent charity auction possible.
