One of only Seven finalists in the UK
The Sovereign Shopping Centre is delighted to announce that Centre Manager, Peter Ruscoe, has been shortlisted for the ‘Small Centre, Centre Manager of the Year’ award in the annual shopping centre SCEPTRE awards.
The SCEPTRE awards bring together the very finest shopping centres across the UK and rewards those who show outstanding commitment and contributions to retail, aiming to recognise the best practice and passionate people in the shopping centre industry.
Peter Ruscoe has been nominated after successfully showing his passion and dedication to the Sovereign Shopping Centre over the past year and through the difficult COVID period. In the last 12 months alone, Peter has introduced environmental and community initiatives and contributed significantly to new lettings within the Centre, all of which have contributed to an incredible rise in footfall with figures showing an increase of 3% against pre covid levels, significantly bucking the national trend.
With the majority of shopping centre managers across the UK being entered into the competition, the SCEPTRE judges have whittled it down to just seven finalists.
On Wednesday 16th November, the shortlisted nominees and the best in the industry will gather to find out who will be crowned the winners.
