Santa’s Grotto raises funds for Bournemouth Food Bank

The Sovereign Centre team were delighted to present a cheque of £1,188 to Millie Earl from the Bournemouth Food Bank , which was raised from our Santa’s Grotto. The Grotto was run by Westbourne Rotary, and Boscombe & Southbourne Rotary Clubs, a total of £3,565 was raised for charitable causes.

Peter Ruscoe, Sovereign Shopping Centre Manager, comments “We were delighted to welcome the Rotary back to the centre to operate the grotto again. So many children enjoyed the experience of meeting Santa, receiving a present and having a picture as a memory and now Bournemouth Food Bank will be benefitting from this wonderful event.

Millie Earl from the Bournemouth Food Bank said “it has been a pleasure to work alongside the teams at the Sovereign Shopping Centre and with the local Rotary Clubs and we are delighted to receive this funding for the Bournemouth Food Bank at this crucial time”.
