Sovereign Shopping Centre Proud to Support Local Business

Following an initiative created to support local businesses in the Bournemouth area, ‘Ages Apparel’ have won 2 free weeks trading in the Sovereign Shopping Centre in Boscombe!

The business was set up by two brothers from Bournemouth, England with a mix of British, Irish & West African origins. With a background in art and design, they have always been interested in nature and especially the great animals of wild Africa. This passion fuels their work and through Ages Apparel they hope to share their desire to bring African inspiration to all with a unique British twist.

Starting out with one t-shirt design at the beginning of this year, the collection has grown to multiple men’s and women’s t-shirts, bags, artwork and now jewellery also.

Ages Apparel are committed to protecting the animals and cultures that much of their inspiration is taken from, so they are proud to donate £1 from every t-shirt sale to the African Wildlife Foundation who work alongside the people of Africa to ensure the wildlife and wild lands of Africa will endure forever.

The brothers are now keen for an opportunity to have their products showcased in a busy environment and to take the next step in establishing their business in the marketplace.

Ages Apparel commented, “We’re so grateful to have this opportunity in the Sovereign Shopping Centre. We hope people will enjoy meeting us and will like our products. If we inspire any other young entrepreneurs to follow their dreams that would be a bonus!”

Forum Centre Space who manage promotional space within the Sovereign Shopping Centre added, “Ross and George Okoye present a great example of what people can do with some local support as the business was originally established with the help of Outset Bournemouth with a single t-shirt design which has now been expanded into jewellery, bags, prints and a full range of t-shirt designs. We believe that with some further local support that we have offered at the Sovereign Centre, this opportunity is the next step in helping them expand their customer base and generate awareness of their business and what they stand for in terms of ethical and quality products.

Ages Apparel clothing and accessories will be available in the Sovereign Shopping Centre from 14th-27th November 2016.
